Rudhauli gas agency flouting the government’s rules
Consumers are troubled by the arbitrariness of agency employees
Constantly making rounds to get gas cylinders
District Magistrate’s orders are not being followed
Tejas Today,
Vivek Tripathi,
Jaunpur. A long line formed at the Rudhauli Bharat Gas Agency in Jaunpur. At 8 a.m., a notice was posted stating that there was no gas. Consumers travel 35-40 kilometers, and being turned away is unacceptable. Vivek Tripathi, who was also in the line, stated that the gas was booked on April 22nd. The employee said they would receive it on April 29th, but they didn’t receive it even on May 1st. This is purely employee arbitrariness. The agency owner is ignoring the arbitrary actions of his employees. The District Magistrate claims there is no gas shortage. Meanwhile, in the office, slips are issued arbitrarily, with the shutters down. Consumers are turned away, claiming there are no trucks and no gas. Mr. Tripathi has demanded an investigation into the RK Bharat Gas Agency and action taken.
